Hi folks, just a quick report. I spent a couple of hours today at the Upper Coliban Reservoir where I landed a little trout.
About 22-25 cm in length and it took an olive woolly bugger pattern on a 12ft home-made leader.
Returned to the water to fight another day.
Cold and overcast conditions but the water clarity was very good.
Good fun and unexpected.
First trout on a rod! Not caught when tangled like a previous session at Noojee with Chris and Don.😀
