The CFFA had a club trip to Newlyn Reservoir last weekend.
Conditions were tough with a very bright day, little wind and the cloud only making an appearance at the end of the day.
The water level is also down to 46%.
That said, there were a few periods of 10 – 15 mins when the duns began popping and the fish were on them.
Club member Mark Hobbs caught a beautiful 3 1/2 pound brown on one of his own patterns.
There aren’t huge numbers of fish around, but the ones that are there are in great condition.
Tight tippets.
